    hi, i have been diagnosed with madelungs disease and i have an appointment with dr herbst on july 5, 2011. i do not think i am going to make it to that date. i have gained over 100 pounds in 9 months and have been blessed with side effects such as asthma, osteoporosis, to name a few. my physician says he can not get ahold of anyone to give me any type of program to try in the meantime. please help
